Yield: Enough for 4 people

Total Time: Less than 10 minutes to prep but needs to set for an hour

  • ¼ cup vegan sourcream

  • ¼ cup plain vegan yogurt

  • 1 jalapeno - finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  1. Mix all ingredients together

  2. Let sit in fridge for at least one hour

  3. Enjoy!

My go-to vegan sour cream is by Tofutti but I wanted to get a little wild and try something new for this recipe. To be honest, I find all vegan sour creams and creamed cheeses to have a mild “chalky” flavor so I very rarely eat these things if they’re not mixed with stronger flavors. Tofutti just happens to be less chalky in flavor compared to Simple Truth but this recipe has so many components that it probably doesn’t matter what brand you use. This was my first time trying a Forager brand and I like it! That’s pretty much all I have to say about it. There are a lot of vegan yogurts out there but most of them are flavored so my options were more limited because I also didn’t want a coconut based yogurt. I kept this dip in my fridge for a few days and it was even better the next day. Something about this dip got my cats super pumped so I guess plan for that if needed. 10/10 will make this again.
